While the “Hamner Barber Variety Show DVD” is more of a concert video and features many of Jim’s more recent routines and characters, this video is autobiographical with Jim personally discussing his career over the past 35 years. This video features other clever routines performed and created by funnyman Jim Barber during his many years as a touring entertainer on the national college circuit where he was voted the “Comedy Entertainer of the Year.” Also included are early career highlights of his popular Minneapolis based tv show, “Breakfast with Casey Jones” that he co-hosted with Minnesota Broadcasting Hall-Of-Famer, Roger Awsumb, aka Casey Jones.
